The planet of Necropolis was destroyed thousands of years ago, a result of the Techromancer’s insatiable appetite.

The PCs have just flown through a cloud of dust, the ancient planet’s remains, and now the evil lord of the Necropolis is reborn.

Techromancer is a 12 panel, quad fold pamphlet adventure for Mothership and so much more – It’s an ambitious experiment in mediums, structure, and just how big a small adventure can be. Players will revisit a destroyed planet out of time, right on the “comfort” of their own space craft. The countdown clock keeps moving to the Techromancer’s return – and the PCs doom!

  • A 17″ x 11″ pamphlet adventure.
  • A three hour time tracker for keeping track of in-game time.
  • A list of events that happen every 15 minutes of in-game time.
  • A player’s card with QR codes they can scan when they find special information.
  • Ten digital audio broadcasts that play over the ship’s speakers.
  • Four digital audio logs the PCs can unlock.
  • Access to the Techromancer’s computer and the secrets that lie there in.

This adventure is so much larger than its size suggests. It stretches across mediums, yet great detail has been paid toward playability and ease of running. We give the Warden all the additional tools they need to manage the workload.

The adventure starts right after the PCs ship has flown through a strange cloud of space dust.

This is when the timer starts. Anytime a PC takes an action, it advances the time tracker. As it moves forward, more locations appear and the older ones change. Combined with the countdown timer that plays over the ships comms, this gives the game world a strong sense of evolving and continually hints at the PCs upcoming doom.

There is a list of events in the adventure, keyed to certain marks on the tracker. Some trigger broadcasts, others unlock new hints towards the nature of the PCs plight and how they might avoid it. Eventually, the Techromancer’s burial chamber appears. With luck, they’ve found the disk that can corrupt his blood – but they’ll still have to insert it!

Immune to the Divine: The spells and powers of clerics and paladins have no effect on them.
Weapons: They frequently use wickedly curved daggers, which they use for sacrificial purposes.
Soul Clouders: There is a 10% chance that any Vulture Priest can use the sleep spell once per day. The targets are still awake, but they are beset by such a deep depression that it has the same effect as sleep. They may only watch what unfurls around them.
