River's
Welcome
The Stage
River’s Welcome, while normally bereft of locals, is a bustling inn full of traveler’s on the river. Despite the small size of Oakthorn, bards from across the land consider it a mark of status of to have played on it’s stage. Some may even get to finish a song.
Anyone can get on the stage in River’s Welcome. They just speak to the inn’s owner, Vulwyn, and they will put them on the nights schedule (as long as there is time.) If the audience begins to boo, however, Thydain Bloodsausage, the inn’s resident jester and bouncer, hurries them from the stage, slinging insults and jokes. Many frequent the inn for the spectacle alone.
River's Welcome
This is the stage of River’s Welcome, though it can sometimes be anything but. Vulwyn, the inn’s proprietor, will give most anyone a shot to perform. They are quite willing to give the benefit of the doubt. It does not last long, however.
If the crowd does not act favorably within a few minutes, performers find themselves bodily hustled off the stage by Thydain Bloodsausage, Vulwyn’s resident Dwarf, bouncer, and jester. The patrons love the spectacle of it.
Balconies
The balconies are reserved for wealthy customers. A lucky performer might find themselves invited up here at the behest of a potential patron who enjoyed their work. It is a mark of status to support talented artists and the wealthy are quite competitive when a new potential star takes the stage.

Main Floor
The main floor of River’s Welcome is where people sit to watch the show. It can be a dizzying scene of servers carrying food dodging dancing patrons. The floor often gets slick with spilled drink and one can smell the sweat on hot summer days when folks pack into the inn to hear music. It’s not as musky as human establishments, of course. Or, at least, that’s what the elves say…
Upward Stairs
These stairs lead to the sleeping quarters on the second floor.

Kitchen
The kitchen. This is where food is prepared in the inn.
Booze
This room is where the alcohol is stored. Servers will carry around pitchers of wine and ale, filling the mugs of any who are thirsty for coin.
The Privy
The privy. This is where patrons go to take care of their… business.
Storage Shed
This is a multipurpose storage shed. It is often times full of tools, empty kegs, and miscellaneous other things. Anyone making a DC 13 investigation check inside will find a trap door. It goes down into a tunnel that let’s out beneath one of the tables behind River’s Welcome.
Back Dock
Folks often tie their rowboats and canoes to this exceptionally long dock. Vulwyn employs a guard to watch over the craft while patrons enjoy themselves.
