Under raging storm clouds, the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind’s howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. Far below, yet not beyond his keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd’s face forms the barest hint of a smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they came — all according to his plan. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited.

From the DM

“My DMing style has always focused on everyone having an awesome time first, rules second.  I like my adventures to have a healthy mix of action, drama and humor.  The biggest compliment I’ve ever received about my DM style is my games feel like they’re directed by Taika Waititi. I firmly believe that anyone can and should play RPGs.  I specialize in teaching new players, but am comfortable running for any level of experience.  As long as you have a good attitude, an imagination, and a willingness to sometimes get kind of wacky, you’re welcome at my table.  I always reward good role playing, so the more you want to be in character the better!  Let’s throw some dice at some monsters together!”

Weekly four hour game for $250 per session.

Digging in the Sand

Bones. So many bones. How many people have been buried here?

You find a rusty long sword and a small, golden vulture head worth 250 gp.

Red Sand

The sand here on the edge of the sacrificial ground is loose and looks recently churned.

Vulture Priest

Immune to the Divine: The spells and powers of clerics and paladins have no effect on them.
Weapons: They frequently use wickedly curved daggers, which they use for sacrificial purposes.
Soul Clouders: There is a 10% chance that any Vulture Priest can use the sleep spell once per day. The targets are still awake, but they are beset by such a deep depression that it has the same effect as sleep. They may only watch what unfurls around them.
