Tenarlian is in some senses an Elven New Year’s Eve. The Winter Solstice is the longest night. Traditionally in Elvish culture, it’s thought that this is when the Demon Gods that created the world hold the most sway. Stories abound of strange happenings on this night and new ones are always shared the next morning, though if they are real or part of a paranoid imagination, no one can say.

Thus, as part of the “celebration,” Elves do not speak after night fall. They make no noise and allow themselves only a single candle. The night passes slowly as they try and escape the notice of anything that waits in the darkness. Tomorrow, there will be feasting and celebration. First, however, they must survive the longest night.

This Tenarlian, the darkness is coming to call. Want to be prepared? Sign up below to be notified when Crumbling Keep releases their first holiday module!
