College of Mockery

Become a 20th level Shit Talker

Leading Professional Game Master DM Dix brings us the College of Mockery.

Vicious Mockery is fun… in theory. When you want to bring your trash talk to the table but it only does 1d4 damage, it’s a little disheartening. Enter the College of Mockery.

DM Dix has created an entire subclass based around mocking your opponent to death. Surprisingly intricate and tactical, it’s one of the most well put together character options I’ve seen. From support to control, the College of Mockery is both balance and versatile.

Oh, and it lends itself to the best “yo mamma” jokes.

  • More uses of the Bardic Inspiration Die. With class features such as “Improved Mockery” and “Fighting Words“, you’ll have plenty of options.
  • New backgrounds. Alternatives such as “Travelling Merchant“, “Politician“, and “Grifter.” Perfect for trash talking Bards or any other character.
  • A collection of feats. From the ever inspiring “Prolific Inspiration” to the mosh-pit-read “Battle Dancer“, these are the final puzzle piece to your new Bard.

Get ready to play your bard like never before.

Digging in the Sand

Bones. So many bones. How many people have been buried here?

You find a rusty long sword and a small, golden vulture head worth 250 gp.

Red Sand

The sand here on the edge of the sacrificial ground is loose and looks recently churned.

Vulture Priest

The Vulture Priests are the enemy of knowledge and enlightenment. They seek to bring the eternal silence, the end of all things. Decay and obedience is their only god.

Immune to the Divine: The spells and powers of clerics and paladins have no effect on them.
Weapons: They frequently use wickedly curved daggers, which they use for sacrificial purposes.
Soul Clouders: There is a 10% chance that any Vulture Priest can use the sleep spell once per day. The targets are still awake, but they are beset by such a deep depression that it has the same effect as sleep. They may only watch what unfurls around them.
